The Glenview New Church School has an immediate opening for a part-time middle school math teacher for the 2011-2012 school year. This is a 30 hour a week position in a Christian setting with small class sizes and a family feel.

Bryn Athyn College
Human Resources Generalist
Bryn Athyn College, a small, private, coeducational, liberal arts college located 14 miles north of center-city Philadelphia, is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to coordinate the implementation of Human Resources programs at the College and serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, and other personnel-related issues. The HR Generalist will report directly to the College President.
Specific responsibilities of this position include:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee relations issues for both faculty and staff.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts for the College: develop job descriptions, post position openings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews with hiring departments.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding for new faculty and staff.
- Coordinate the annual performance management cycle for faculty and staff.
- Assist with the orderly severance of employees
- Manage the College’s implementation of centralized HR programs and policies, including compensation and benefits programs.
- Support College leadership in identifying human resources impacts related to strategic plans and operational plans; identify alternatives for addressing human resources needs.
- Stay up to speed with best practices in higher education HR
Candidates for this position should possess 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably as an HR Generalist. Excellent communication skills essential. Experience in a college or educational institution is strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required. PHR or similar HR certification preferred.

Tools 4 Life Summer Camp: July 15-21, 2012
Camp Counselor
Purpose of the Position: To serve as the primary adult responsible for the youth in your group, and to assist in implementing the program (including chaperoning classes, physical activities, daily living, health, safety, presentation and events).
Benefits of the position: Fun interacting with high school students; expand your knowledge, develop leadership skills, new leadership opportunities, increase enthusiasm and possibilities for college and jobs.
Responsible to:
- Head camp counselor
- Camp Directors
- Additional Camp staff
Collective Goals for camp:
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Well organized camp program
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have completed 1st year of college (or out of high school 2 years).
- Must complete application requirements:
- Interview with Amanda and Kyla
- Background check
- Attend counselor training dates prior to camp – most likely the Saturday before camp begins
- CPR / First Aid training recommended
- Exhibit characteristics of: leadership, responsibility, patience, dependability, maturity, integrity, ability to work independently as well as a team, and display a positive attitude
Duties:
- Assume the responsibility of the safety of campers
- Follow camp objective, rules, policies and guidelines
- Assist staff with all camp activities
- Serve as a positive role model for youth
- Show genuine interest in campers
- Be punctual and organized
- Problem solve through situations and seek assistance when necessary
- Attend scheduled meetings and trainings
- Participate enthusiastically
- Follow directions
- Work to ensure all youth are comfortable, safe and included
- Chaperone when assigned (during day and night)
- Know where campers are at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
